I Hate Technology!

I've decided that I hate all things electronic. Probably because I am too dumb to figure them out, but as we are moving into an increasingly technological generation, I need to try and figure all this crap out. My computer has not been turning on for a week now. I push the button, it makes the *click* sound, but does it turn on? No. I can almost hear it whispering to me. "Haha you fool. You thought you could turn me on, but alas, I have fooled you!" Right now it's with some guy, who charges an insane amout of money to probably do something insanely easy to fix it. Antonio was out of town all week as well so I was totally cut off from all things! I never realized how much of a loser I am (or how much time I spend on the computer until I don't have it!).

Ninja, Gambit, and I did some very fun things this week though. Aunt Bee and Snooks went home on Monday and we were so sad. It was so nice to spend all that time with them. Gambit had his FIRST birthday on Tuesday! It is so hard for be to believe that my baby is one. He just gets cuter and cuter every day. He's starting to talk a lot, well, he's trying at least. His new favorite thing is to try and call for the cat. He'll stand at the top of the stairs and say "Ki-Ki....*kiss*kiss*...Ki-Ki....*kiss*kiss" So stinking cute. Ninja and I took him to the doctor on Wednesday to have a check up. Gambit weighed 19 lbs and 2 oz (5 th percentile) and was 30 in long (50th percentile). He's long and lean!

On a fun note....I got my American Eagle order yesterday!! Yay! They were having a great online sale so I went to check it out. Then my friend gave me coupon codes for 20% and 15% off, and I could use both on the same order. Woo Hoo! I went a little crazy and got a bunch of stuff for me. So overall I saved about 65%! Antonio was happy about that part.

Antonio's Shopping Habits

So I'm banking on the fact that my husband probably doesn't read this blog, because I'm sure he won't be too happy that I am making posts about him...haha. I LOVE YOU HONEY!

So I've been wanting high-speed internet for a while (because I sit at home and do nothing, so why not do nothing, faster!) and Antonio wants cable because football season is starting [insert eye roll]. So our local cable company is doing a promotional deal if you package all your cable, internet, and phone services with them. We decide to take the plunge and become....*gasp*....normal. (We've never had cable or internet, and we've never had any caller ID thing on our phone).

After deciding on that, we've been talking about other big purchase we need, or want, to make. A new fridge, freezer for the garage, Antonio broke my dryer [another eye roll], etc. Antonio decides we should also put a new TV on the list. On Saturday he tells me that he's going to Wal-mart as I am getting the kids ready for bed. Fine. He comes home a few hours later and walks in with a huge TV! There goes our Things-We-Need-To-Buy fund. I was a bit taken aback at first, but this TV is my new best friend! It's totally cool! I can't believe I have been living in the dark ages for so long. I watched a few of my Friends episodes and I could actually see the gray hairs on Jennifer Aniston's head! Ok, she probably doesn't have any, but it is so clear.

Antonio is very excited to see the football games in such detail. I don't know if I would want to see so many large, sweaty men that clearly....but to each his own!

Off to dinner at the in-law's house!
