Daddy made a yummy dinner for us!
It's an unfortunate thing for my pocketbook that I have three hungry boys who love quality meat.

Ninja is still playing basketball year round and still loves it. His current team is undefeated this season and has one more game to play.
Cut and color
31 weeks pregnant and I got the itch for some change. Antonio had been asking me for years to go red, but I've always been too scared. I figured its time to just go for it.

I was having a horrible, no good very bad day. First, I was extremely uncomfortable being pregnant. Second, Rocket was being a pill. His redeeming act was putting himself down for a nap (the kid hasn't napped in almost 2 years and should have been my first clue that he was sick).
Then, I dropped the lid of my favorite crock pot and it shattered all over my kitchen.
I burst into tears.
Later that night I could tell that Rocket wasn't feeling well. He was really wheezy and congested. As he was sleeping he was really struggling to breathe and had a lot of stridor. At 11pm, I finally decided to take him to the ER. His breathing was concerning me and I knew he needed some steroids to open up his airway. That led to us spending the next 7 hours at the hospital.
Thankfully he recovered from this bout of croup quickly and was back to his happy self in just a few days.
We are now up to one ER visit for each child.
Seven!
Gambit went ahead and decided to have another birthday and turned seven years old! We spent the afternoon playing arcade games and bowling and having a great time. He is still my clown, always making people laugh. He's still a cuddler and loves to snuggle up. Such a great kid!

First day of school
First day of third grade for Ninja!

The first days of lunches-

Ta-Ta-Ta- TAYLOR!
Here's how a recent Thursday afternoon went.
Athena called me and said that a few more tickets to the Taylor Swift concert the next day were just released. Should we go? I responded, that would be super awesome! She calls back a few minutes later....GOT THREE TICKETS FOR ME, YOU, AND MOUSE!!
Much screaming and excitement ensued. Yes, I realize we were acting like prepubescent little girls.
So the next evening we went to an AWSOME Taylor Swift concert. We had soooo much fun acting young and carefree :-) As we were walking in a really nice lady and her daughter gave Mouse their VIP bag. It was filled with lots of goodies and awesome Taylor paraphernalia.
And Ed Sheeran, who opened for Taylor, sucked. I was super disappointed with his performance. Oh well, the rest of the concert was amazeballs!
