Ninja is 7!

My Ninja turned seven years old today. Time flies when you've got cute kids! He started off the day by making a "birthday box." We went bowling, had donuts, opened a few presents, and celebrated what an awesome boy we have! Ninja is smart and very logical, happy, generous, kind, goofy, and sometimes a little reserved. He is a wonderful son.

Rocket was more interested in texting his friends.

And then he walked onto the lane. I went out to get him and.....WHAM! I was flat on my back. Let me tell you, if you don't already know, bowling lanes are VERY, VERY slippery. And it doesn't help that the shoes you wear have NO grip. I literally had to slide on my butt down the lane to grab Rocket. Little stinker.

Pumpkin Patch

Ninja's elementary school and Gambit's preschool have a good relationship and often go on field trips together. It worked out perfectly that they went to the pumpkin patch together, so I was able to go with both boys (and bring Rocket!). There are A LOT of pictures here, but we had so much fun I just couldn't narrow it down. They have a hay maze, bale pyramid, farm animals, tractor rides, and the pumpkin fields. We've been going to this place since Nolan was born and we had to get the obligatory picture with Farmer Bill. It's neat to see how much the kids have grown through the years!

Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween! We had Mammie, Papa, Aunt Sally, Cousin Dee, Uncle Gee, Aunt Bee, Snooks, Buzz, Baby Girl, and Winsk all over to our house for some trick or treating fun. We all had dinner together and then got the kids ready for their candy raid. Ninja dressed up as....you guessed it, a ninja. Gambit was a shark, Rocket was a horse, Snooks was an astronaut, Buzz was spiderman, Cousin Dee was a little monster (which was very fitting because he did not have a very good day), and Baby Girl was a little dog. The kids had so much fun trick or treating together. It was the first time we were able to go in this neighborhood. Last year was our first halloween in this house, but it was a Sunday so we didn't trick or treat that evening. I do have to say, our neighbors give out great candy!

Antonio cuddles with Cousin Dee.

Cousin Dee says, "Girls are so boring." Baby Girl says, "Get this crazy monster away from me!"

Cutest horse on the farm!

They are at least all looking in the same direction. That's the best you can do when taking a picture of five boys.

Cousin Dee joins the photo and the boys are itching to get going!

Snooks and Buzz

Uncle Gee carries Spiderman.

"Give me more candy!"

He wasn't so sure about this whole thing at first.

Ninja! He ran around the neighborhood so fast this was the only picture we got of him.

The babies enjoyed their first trick or treating experience by sleeping.

"Oh, I get candy if I walk up to your door?"

"Don't mind if I do!"
