I'm way too lazy to keep up with this!

So, I started this blog so that long-distance friends and family could keep up with us. But I apparently am too computer incompetent to figure out how all this works. I'm supposed to be a child of the digital age, but I say bring back the 8-tracks and disco! Okay, I'm not that old!

Gambit and I had a wonderful trip in St. George. He was unusually well-behaved on the plane, much to my surprise and delight. Since coming home, he has developed this ear piercing shriek that he thinks is hilarious. It is even more hilarious when executed at the most inappropriate times. Church services, 3 am, standing next to the woman who thinks children should be seen and not heard at the Wal-Mart checkout. Actually, that one was timely executed. But despite the shrill screams he has developed, at least all the screaming has tuckered him out long enough to sleep through the night! Woo Hoo!

Ninja is going 3 weeks and counting without a potty accident. Another thing to celebrate. It's amazing the things that I now get excited about. It used to be a new pair of shoes, or a cute hair cut. Now its children that sleep, and fewer poopy diapers to change.

More Potty Training Success!

Ninja has now gone almost 3 days without a potty accident. Yay! I never realized how great it would be to get rid of diapers. Although I still prefer changing a poopy diaper over poopy underwear.

Gambit took his first two steps last week. He was sick all day Saturday with a high fever. He's working on getting his top two teeth and isn't liking that process so far. He and I will fly to St. George, Utah on Wednesday to visit some family.

County Fair - 2006

I took Ninja to the county fair with Winsk and Julia.  He loved to look at all the animals.

Seattle Trip

Nonnie and G-Pop were taking a quick trip up to Seattle and because Antonio needed time to study for school, Ninja and I decided to come with them.  It was so fun!  The weather was great, Ninja was a good traveler (except for the one night in the hotel he wouldn't sleep), and because Nonnie gets travel perks all the time, we got to spend one night in the penthouse of a nice hotel in downtown Seattle.

First Bites

Ninja had his first bites of rice cereal mixed with breast milk.  He didn't know what to do with it and wasn't too thrilled with the new taste and texture.

Swinging time

Ninja loves to watch the little fish twirl around on his swing.  He keeps him entertained so I can get stuff done!
