Christmas!

We had a wonderful Christmas this year. We spent Christmas week with my parents and siblings in Sunriver, a fun resort in Central Oregon. We had so much fun playing in the snow and just hanging out. It was so great to have everyone home this year. Here are a few pictures from the past few weeks.

All bundled up to go outside!

Can't Leave Out Gambit

I have to post some recent pictures of Gambit, but unfortunately I don't have any that are as humiliating as Ninja's. Here is my Booser-Bear.

My Little Fasionista!

Oh Goodness, these are going to be some great blackmail pictures when Ninja gets bigger. Antonio and I were out cleaning the garage and Ninja wanted to come help. He is on a clothing strike and will only wear his underwear, so I told him he had to get dressed before he could come out and help. He dutifully went in and this is what he came back out in. Rain boots, mittens, and a cowboy hat!

Santa Letter

My sister helped Ninja write a letter to Santa tonight, and this is what it said.

Dear Santa,
I was very good this year and I would like a toy ship. A lightning McQueen blanket, a candy cane, new Lightning McQueen cars. Bob the Builder movies or toys. A regular blanket, a puzzle, a random book and toy. I want the most is Love and a Merry Christmas.
Love,
Ninja
Thank You

I thought that was too cute. If you can't tell, the kids loves blankets. I have to fold and put away all the blankets in my closet many, many times a day. He sleeps with about 6 blankets. We got our Christmas tree yesterday and got it all decorated. I love Christmas and having my house look all pretty! Gambit has gone straight for the ornaments and lights, but we've been trying to teach him not to touch them. I learned not to put glass ornaments on a tree when you have little kids (Ninja bit one when he was a baby and cut his mouth all up).

Happy (late) Thanksgiving!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving. We went over to Antonio's parent's house and had a great time. The boys love going to Mammie's house and I love to eat! Gambit is still doing great with sleeping, much to my amazement. He's woken up a few times at night, but fallen back asleep before I go in there. I'm hoping this is a turning point for the better because I am sick of getting up at night. I don't think my body remembers having this much rest and now all I want to do is S.L.E.E.P.!! Ah...my bed is calling to me right now. I'm so excited for Christmas though, I think I'll get down my decorations and start putting them all up. Don't get trampled in the shopping crowds today!

The Elusive Sleep

I don't want to jinx myself by writing about this, but I am just so excited. Gambit has slept through the night for 2 NIGHTS IN A ROW!!!! For those of you unfamiliar with Gambit's sleeping habits, they are, well....horrible. He is still getting up 2-4 times at night, and in St. George he was up every hour. I though maybe he was getting some teeth, but since we've been home he has slept great. I can't remember how long it's been since I have had this much sleep at once.

Gambit and I got back from our St. George trip on Sunday afternoon. The trip was bittersweet, under the circumstances. It was great to see all of my cousins and family that I haven't seen for a long time, but Grandma's funeral was very hard. I know that she is happy and that she is with Grandpa again, but it is hard to let go. Maybe it's because we share the same name, but I have always had such a strong bond with her. We drove down and stopped in Fruitland, ID to spend the night with Krystal and Robby. That was so much fun and I wish I could have stayed longer. Her kids are so stinkin' cute!

Antonio took the whole week off work so it's been fun to have him around the house during the day. Right now he is cleaning our bathroom, like really cleaning it. Yay! I can't wait for Thanksgiving in a few days and hope everyone has a wonderful holiday weekend.

Happy Birthday Ninja!

It's Ninja's third birthday today, and I just can't believe it. We had a wonderful party for him last night and we took him out to breakfast this morning. He had a blast. All my baby is gone, he is such a little boy now. He started preschool a few weeks ago and is loving it! He is so smart and funny and constantly amazes me. It is crazy how much I love this kid, there really is nothing like a mother's love. Happy Birthday to my Baby!
